From 1982 up until the early nineties I worked as a full time cartoonist, occasionally using the pen name “Mollusc”. Based at my little studio and gallery in Islington I contributed to numerous magazines and publications including The Cricketer, Cyclists’ Monthly, and the women’s consumer magazines What Diet? and Best. I also worked as a writer for the now-legendary “junior TV times” Look In.
Additionally, I worked as a “live” cartoonist and fast caricature artist at exhibitions and special events all over the UK, and in 1996 I appeared regularly on BBC1 as The Castaway Cartoonist alongside childrens’ presenters Zoe Ball and Chris Jarvis.
